The Sea of Faith Network (NZ)

The Sea of Faith Network is an association of people who have a common interest in exploring religious thought and expression from a non-dogmatic and human-oriented standpoint

Local Groups

Local Sea of Faith groups have formed within New Zealand to continue the exploration. Local Groups typically meet monthly for discussion or to hear a visiting guest speaker.

Local Groups operate autonomously but share their reflections and notices of forthcoming events via a Newsletter produced and mailed by the national Steering Committee. While membership of a Local Group is independent of membership of the national organisation, people are encourage to subscribe to both. The annual subscription payable to the national organisation is good value, while local groups may levy a small subscription to defray costs. There is no hierarchical relationship between the national body and no levy on local groups by the national body.
